Jammu Dogra warrior expresses concern over slow pace of development works
and maintenance of heritage sites, threatens agitation



Jammu, February 17, (Scoop News)-Jammu Dogra Warriors initiated an examplary act by starting the development work out of collected money by the inhabitants of the Chowgan Salathia area in Jammu city.

Speaking on the occasion, the chairman of Jammu Dogra Warriors, Varun Magotra, thanked the local people for generating money and also setting an example in the society when the Govt. had given deaf ears to their grievances. He said the drains of the area are in pathetic condition and demanded immediate repair.

Magotra showed his concern over slow pace of development works in Dogra heritage site, Mubarak Mandi complex. He threatened the authorities to face an agitation if these works remained neglected.

"It is shame for us that our rich cultural heritage is suffering for want of sufficient funds for their maintenance," he said.

Magotra said that the state Govt. has also delayed the renovation work of Abhinav theater earlier for years. All the entry gates of old Jammu are either encroached or need immediate restoration.
