JBA protests settlement of illegal immigrants

Jammu, February 18, (Scoop News)-Jammu Bachao Andolan (JBA) lodged strong protest demonstration at Narwal Chowk over settlement illegal immigrants in Jammu and its outskirts.
The protest was led by Ch. Vikram Randhawa, Convener of the movement and was participated by scores of people from Narwal and other adjoining areas.
While addressing the protestors Ch Vikram said that the presence of the Rohingyas, Bangladeshis is a threat to the life and property of the local residents. He said that from past over 10 to 12 years the strength of these people is continuously increasing. He said it is a deep rooted conspiracy to damage the demography of the Jammu region. Not only this, these people are being funded and supported by few people who are behind there settlement in Jammu, Vikram added.
Ch. Vikram urged upon the government that a probe be conducted to ascertain the facts behind the settlement of these people in the region as their presence is a conspiracy to change the demography. He also alleged that these illegal foreigners possess Aadhar Cards and asked the government to check who managed these cards for them following which they are now showing their identity as Indians rather than Bangladeshis and Rohingyas.
Ch. Vikram warned of more strong protest demonstrations against these people in the days to come and said that this movement will be expedited until these illegal immigrants are sent back. He urged upon the Jammuites to join this movement as it is not a political movement but a genuine cause for the betterment of the Jammuites.
Those participated in the protest include Tarun Sharma, Dheeraj Singh, Amit Gupta, Beli Ram Bhagat, S. Dalbir Singh, Liaqat Ali, Sadiq Hussain, Surat Singh, Sharda Devi, Gaurav Kumar and others.
