| JK witnessing all-round development:Ajay Nanda | | Reasi, February 19, (Scoop News)- Minister of State for Finance and Planning, Ajay Nanda, today conducted Sampark Yatra in several villages including Dhanowa, Kothiyan, Kherlair, Dab Khalsa and adjoining parts of Pouni block to take stock of public issues besides reviewing development works.
The Minister, while interacting with the locals, assured them that the government is well abreast with their problems and demands and is working hard to ensure better amenities with enhanced basic services. He asked the people to actively participate in development works being executed in their respective areas for effective outcome.
Elucidating on the initiatives taken by the present dispensation, the Minister said that all-round development has been recorded in the state with emphasis on unattended areas. “This has become possible due to people’s trust and cooperation being extended to the government agencies in execution of vital development projects,” he maintained.
The Minister also hailed the initiatives of Central Government like demonetization, cashless transaction and other welfare schemes saying that these efforts would definitely help in containing corruption besides improving the living standards of people.
