| ‘Khelo India’ sports festival held at Boniyar | | Baramulla, MARCH 18: Jammu, March 18, (Scoop News)- District Development Commissioner Baramulla, Dr Nasir Ahmad Naqash, kickstarted ‘Khelo India’ sports festival at Government Higher Secondary School Boniyar here today.
Organized by State Sports council, as many as 400 participants from various parts of Boniyar block are taking part in the under-17 sports contest.
SDM Uri, Coordinator Nehru Yuva Kendra, Manager Sports Council Baramulla, officials of the Sports Council and other concerned were present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, the DDC asked the youth to come forward and participate in games like Cricket, Football, Volleyball, Kabadi etc for overall personality development and for promotion of sports activities in the State. He said that the district administration will provide every possible support to make the sports festival a success in Baramulla.
