JKPCC chides Central and State government for failing to allocate PG seats to GMC Jammu | | Jammu, March 24, (Scoop News)-JKPCC has lashed out at the state and Central Government's for the failure to allocate the PG seats to Jammu in the lot of 4000 PG seats of doctors to Medical Colleges and Hospitals across the country.
In a statement PCC chief spokesman, Ravinder Sharma, questioned the failure of the State government especially the Health and Medical Education Department to fulfill the requirements to qualify for the additional PG seats to the Government Medical College Jammu.
He questioned BJP which heads the Health Department in the state besides ruling at the Centre for this serious lapse and neglect of Jammu region in this matter.
This exposes the commitment of the party to Jammu where health and medical facilities are quite inadequate and shortage of specialist doctors. This is another blunder and utter failure on the part of the BJP, after the AIIMS issue when people of Jammu region had to launch an agitation for the purpose.
Even then the process for setting up AIIMS has not reached anywhere so far and remains only on papers. The continuous neglect of the centre government has been matter of great resentment and concern amongst the people. ... |
