Army holds six week long pre recruitment training for employment in Army
TA and Paramilitary Forces for local youth.




Rajouri, March 24, (Scoop News)-In an effort to engage the youth in progressive activities, the Army is conducting pre-recruitment training under a structured programme of six weeks for the local youth from remote villages of Reasi and Rajouri district.


Reasi based Rashtriya Rifles Force Headquarters has taken up the initiative to train and guide eligible, aspiring and volunteer youth of the area for recruitment into the Armed Forces, Territorial Army and Central Armed Police Forces.


The aim of this initiative is to prepare, guide and train the youth under the able guidance and close supervision of qualified Army Instructors for recruitment rallies scheduled this year.



The Rashtriya Rifles Battalions at Kalal, Gool, Kalkote, Bagga, Samote, Lam and Talwara are undertaking the six week long training of more than 175 volunteer youth in the region.


After initial screening, the shortlisted youth are being put through systematic training to ensure that they are ready to qualify both in physical and written tests at the Army recruitment rally.


Simultaneously, medical tests are also being conducted for all the candidates in addition to documents check to ensure that aspiring candidates are completely prepared in all aspects for the upcoming recruitment rally.


The response to the initiative was overwhelming and the trainees are hopeful that the training imparted will help them succeed in enrollment in Army, Territorial Army and Central Armed Police Forces.


The village elders are extremely happy as the initiative will not only help the youth get employment but also provide an opportunity to improve their personal and social conduct skills....
