| NC condemns sacrilegious act in Khampora Sarai Expressed solidarity with Sikhs | |
Srinagar, March 27, (Scoop News)- Provincial President National Conference Mr Nasir AslamWani has expressed deep anguish over the dissertation of the Holy Granth Sahib at Khampora Sarai in Budgam, urging the administration to book all those responsible for this act that has hurt the religious sentiments of people.
The Provincial President and MLC Mr Ali Mohammed Dar and Minority Cell leaders Mr Jagdesh Singh Azad and Mr Himmat Singh described the act as unfortunate and attributed it to the failure of the government. They made a passionate appeal to Sikh Sangat to maintain calm and hoped that the government will identify and book the culprits soon.
A delegation of National Conference leaders visited Khampora Sarai to express solidarity with the Sikh Sangat, whose religious sentiments are hurt.
