| DEO Kulgam visits election training venues | | Kulgam , March 28, (Scoop News)- In connection with forthcoming bye-elections for Anantnag Parliamentary Constituency, the District Election Officer (DEO) Kulgam, Showkat Aijaz Bhat today visited various election training venues set up for imparting special training to the poll staff in the district.
The DEO took stock of the arrangements made at these locations. He was informed that all requisite training is being providing to the election staff including knowledge about operating electronic voting machines.
General training has been imparted to 3600 employees at four different locations including DIET College Kulgam, Government Degree College Kulgam, Government Degree College DH Pora and Tehsil Office Devsar which was followed by the process of randomisation where 2030 employees have been selected for first special training.
