To press authorities, CSCC and LGEU to hold protest demonstration in Secretariat complex on Wednesday
joint leadership expects settlement of their demands without any further delay
Jammu, April 25, (Scoop News)-Civil Secretariat Coordination Committee and Lower Grade Employees Union has announced to hold a joint sit in protest demonstration on Wednesday in support of long pending demands and over the delaying attitude of the present government.


“It was unanimously decided to hold a protest demonstration on Wednesday (April 26) to press the government for addressing the grievances and expect settlement of all our demands without any further delay,” a press statement said.


Notwithstanding several meetings with the senior officers and government representatives, the leaders of the both the factions have already listed and projected the demands from time to time before them.


However, no action has been taken in this regard by the people at the helm of affairs till date, the leaders asserted.


“It has been observed with great concern that the authorities at the helm of affairs seem to be least serious in attending to the burning issues concerning the employees,” they maintained.


The leaders pointed out the issue of pay anomalies is various categories of employees as mentioned in the Government order issued on the subject have not been given any attention by the committee constituted for the purpose.


They said the employees are suffering badly on account of Estate accommodations due to negligent approach and repetition of mistake by the concerned authorities.


The orders issued by the department with regard to fresh/change/ on mutual basis

have neither been reviewed nor has any committee been constituted as the said orders have been issued in total violation and without following proper procedures.


The leaders emphasized for review of cadre/ career progression of employees on the establishment of GAD/ Finance/ Planning and Law.


They pointed out that orders of detachment from the Administrative Departments have totally been ignored even though chief secretary, principal secretary to chief minister issued several directions to all the administrative secretaries for implementing the directions of chief minister and standing orders of General Administrative Department....
