Congress Condemns militant attack on army camp


Jammu, April 27, (Scoop News)-JKPCC has strongly condemned the militant attack in Kupwara area on an army installation in which three army personal have been martyred while two militants have also been eliminated so far.



Expressing shock over the martyrdom of army personnel who laid down their lives for the nation, JKPCC chief spokesperson, Ravinder Sharma, has expressed serious concern over the worsening situation in the valley.


He also expressed grave concern and termed unfortunate the clashes between Army and civilians in which one person has been killed and some other injured, leading to escalation in the situation. Sharma said that repeated attacks on the army camps and security forces and rise in the graph of militant activates with reports of fresh recruitment of youth in militants cadres and general unrest and violence in the valley is an eye opener of the current situation.


"This speaks of the total failure of the state government and the present policy of centre government on the ground," he said adding "the centre government must wake up and take concrete measures to contain the overall situation, which is going out of hand and the unacceptability of present coalition government is a sort of adding fuel to fire, lading to further worsening of situation."



He paid rich tributes to the martyred soldiers and prayed for early recovery of the seriously injured jawans. ...
