Bharti Foundation launches ‘Learning with Leaders’ series in Nagrota Constituency
Rana lauds effort to recognise leaders in educational field

Jammu, April 27, (Scoop News)- Bharti Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Bharti Enterprises launched ‘Learning with Leaders,’seriestoday at Government Higher Secondary School, Dhansal, Jammu.

This initiative forms a critical part of the Foundation’s efforts to energise and recognise exceptional leaders in the field of education. Through “Learning with Leaders” the Foundation invites inspirational Educationiststo share their learning and expertise with not only the attending students and teachers but also the Bharti Foundation team. To launch the first of the series, Bharti Foundation invited Mr Vijay Kumar, Principal, Government Higher Secondary School, Dhansal, Jammu to address the gathering.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Vijay Kumar said “Energised teams translate into energised schools, be it our well maintained herbal garden, community rallies by students, meetings with parents or instilling correct values: every aspect of the schooling practice requires dedication and passion. I am thankful to the program team from Bharti Foundation for their support for all our endeavours.”


The visiting top management included Vijay Chadda, CEO, Bharti Foundation, who while speaking at the inaugural session he said, “Educators in rural India carry the added responsibility of creating responsible citizenry of the future with limited resources. To witness first-hand the passion and dedication of teachers in Govt. Schools today and in all education programs of the Foundation across 12 states of India is indeed heartening.”

Mamta Saikia, COO, Bharti Foundation added, “At Bharti Foundation we empower teachers and school leaders to be evangelists of quality education who inspire others and are recognised as role models in the community. We have always looked up to our teachers for their commitment, dedication and passion for education, today we have taken this one step forward by recognising their leadership quality.”

Reacting to the experience shared by a school leader, National Conference MLA, Nagrota, Mr Devender Singh Rana appreciated over the efforts of the Foundation team in providing the children access to quality of education, he said, “We reiterated this commitment when we joined hands with Bharti Foundation over a year ago. I am happy to see our combined efforts have promoted platforms such as these to bring about change and recognise leaders in the field.”
