Protesting secretariat employees threaten of ‘indefinite strike’ till their problems are not resolved

Jammu, April 28, (Scoop News)-After holding unproductive talks with the state authorities, Civil Secretariat Coordination Committee (CSCC) has decided to continue with their protest till their demands were met by the government.

Mir said the delegation of CSCC apprised Dy CM about the apathetic attitude of the government with regard to various burning issues pertaining to the employees but he remained unmoved.

Supported by Maqbool Hussain, president Lower Grade Employees Union, the leaders decided that no official work will be carried out in the offices of Civil Secretariat for next two days.

However, in connection with bi annual Darbar Move, the employees are allowed to close the records of their respective offices for its transportation to Srinagar after April 28, they said. ...
