| Prof. Bhasin meets Governor | |
Jammu, April 28, (Scoop News)-Prof. Anju Bhasin, Vice-Chancellor of the recently established Cluster University of Jammu, called on Governor N.N. Vohra at the Raj Bhavan here today.
Prof. Bhasin briefed the Governor about the available infrastructure, courses offered, staff positioning and certain important administrative and academic issues relating to the functioning of the University.
Governor observed that the successful functioning of the Cluster University would significantly augment the existing higher education facilities in the State and hoped that the additional and advanced courses offered by the new University would be particularly useful in training students to better meet the job market requirements. He advised Prof. Bhasin to strive for making the University a hub of excellence in teaching and research.
