| Indian Air Force- Udhampur holds a summer camp | | 70 pan India campers participate in 22 adventure activities including para sailing, rock climb, trekking, cycling etc. | 
Udhampur, May 20, (Scoop News)-A Summer Camp was organised by Air Force Station, Udhampur from May 14 to May 20 at Udhampur.
A total of 70 campers pan India participated in the camp with great zeal. A total of 22 adventure activities were conducted in and around Udhampur with the support of Army and BSF.
The day full of activities were conducted during the camp such as Para Sailing, Powered Hand Gliding, Rapelling, Rock Climbing, Zorbing, Trekking, Night Route March, Cycling, Archery, Rifle Shooting, Obstacles and many more. Campers were familiarised with C-130 J aircraft, Mi 17 V5, Cheetah and Chetak helicopters and various weapons.
Aircraft roles such as Slithering and Winching were also displayed to the campers.
On the final day of the camp, campers had put up a cultural evening followed by prize distribution.
Prizes for most disciplined camper, team leader, little champ, best in cultural and best syndicate were awarded. ... |
