SRMSS demand setting up of Museum at Raghunath Mandir


Jammu, May 21, (Scoop News)-Shri Raghunath Ji Mandir Sewa Samiti strongly criticised J&K Dharmarth Trust authority for scanning and exporting data of valuable and historic books of Shri Ranbir Sanskrit Research Library from Shri Raghunath Ji Mandir to Hongkong, Singapore, Britain and Italy through some NGO who earning multi core rupees by supplying the most important material of this very old historic library to out of the country library and this action of J&K Dharmarth Trust management is not only against the interest of Dogra heritage but also finished the importance of this historic library which was built by by Maharaja Ranbir Singh Ji in the year 1846 in which very old and historic manuscripts in Snanskrit, Hindi, English & Buddhist language preserved and various scholar visited in this library for studying and it should not be exported to out of the Country at any cost.
The Samiti President Sh. Rajiv Mahajan, General Secretary Th. Karnail Chand, Sh. Ved Gandotra Sr. Vice President, Sh Vikas Diwan Vice President, Smt. Sunita Sharma Vice President, Sh. Pritam Sharma Organising Secy. Sh. Parbhat Kapahi Secretary, Sh. Parshotam Sharma Joint Secy. held meeting and discuss the matter with prominent citizen of the society and all of them express serious concern over this issue and disagree with the action of trust and demanded clarification from trust authority to explain the object and benefit to the trust with this contract as they alleged this is the property of the Public not any individual and any action in the matter has to be done in consultation and knowledge of public. The Samiti alleged that person having control on J&K Dharmarth Trust treating propriety of J&K Dharmarth Trust being a personal property and with action they expose from every side as they already lifted “Rag and Ragni” Valuable Books which were Written with golden words from Library and till then they unable to trace the same and Shri Raghunath Ji treasury worth Crore of rupees also lifted and sold the multi Kanals land belonging to different temples and they know trying to lift another gold /silver Jewellery which is lying in head office of the Trust the Samiti member demanded stopping the scanning of books, maintaining proper record of all the gold and silver Jewellery donated by the devotees ( including lifted from Shri. R.N.Ji. Temple in 1992) and bring it on white paper so that it may be protected.
The Smiti further demanded that one Museum Hall be constructed at Shri Raghunath Ji
Mandir Complex in which all the old Gold / Silver ornaments and historic books can be display for attracting devotees.
Uday Chand, Sh Upender Bhat, Sh. Pawam Kumar Baru. Sh. Vinit Raina and others were present in the press Conference and supported the movement started by the samiti.
