Vocal BJP, diffident Mehbooba pushing State to margin:Hindu Mahasabha

Jammu, May 21, (Scoop News)- Finance and Defence Minister Arun Jaitley following conclusion of GST meet at Srinagar made a statement before the media that situation in Kashmir is fast improving and the media has been projecting a wrong image. He was full of confidence that tourists should visit Kashmir valley without any fear as the situation is well under control here. Backing Mehbooba and her continuance as the State Chief Minister, Jaitley showed his ignorance about simmering currents in BJP circles about change of guard. Financed Minister who sometime back was favouring Governor N.N.Vohra is felt to have shifted interest and is inclined to get someone else positioned in place of Vohra, said Seema Mahajan of ABHMS. This became apparent from his reported non-acceptance of invitation from the Governor to stay in Raj Bhawan and occupying a private hotel, not in coherence with the protocol in vogue.
A grenade attack on a Police station in Safakdal, Srinagar on 18th May injuring four, a constable of J&K Police decamping away with four SLRs (Self Loading Rifles) from Budgam, boiling South Kashmir and continuing encounter in Nowgam, where four Army jawans have laid down their life goes against the assessment of the Defence Minister. There is no respite in protest by students and many educational institutions still present a gloomy picture. Hurriyat Conference sensing dissociated from the efforts to restore peace in Kashmir is likely to be on the war-path and device new strategy to show its presence and importance as a significant stake holder. Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti paid rich tributes to Moulvi Farooq and Abdul Gani lone on their death anniversaries appreciating their role in socio-political awakening of Kashmiris and expected peace pursuant to the guidance of these leaders. Political opponents viz the National Conference and the Congress making anti Government statements are adding fuel to the fire.
Dr Jitendra Singh in Reasi reiterated the stand of his party in dealing with the separatists and as per reports went to the extent of saying that “Entire state should not suffer because of terror in the valley. Variable tones, duplicity of approach of the coalition partners’ regional compulsions, and nevertheless the political aspirations their hearts conceal, have created a situation, where every move of the Government is running meaningless and ridiculous. Policies are more or less seeing the exit door and only arbitrary functioning is visible, which certainly speaks volumes about the public unfriendly agenda. Differences between the coalition are in the limelight and don’t need to be discussed, according to Hindu Mahasabha.
Speaking on Hawala money transactions and the investigation, it was told by the Mahasabha that the probe had been undertaken by the agencies in the year 2016 and much exercise had already been done. There were reports earlier also on Pakistan funding the separatists and terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir right from 1990 and repeated comments and statements followed by probes would not have been made public the way this is being done. Electronic media is all out to gain out of this and has been throwing poison in the already troubled water, which is unethical. Wrong and biased reporting by certain local print media groups is also helping project hindsight of the actual happenings, told Seema Mahajan. Many Government supported Newspapers and Channels shirk to report against the dispensation for their paltry selfish interests and show ignorance to the genuine picture.
