Religious leaders strongly condemn Nyoma molestation incident
demand suitable punishment and termination of accused doctor

Leh (Ladakh), May 26, (Scoop News)-All Religious Joint Action Committee has condemned alleged Nyoma molestation incident and cautioned the local administration against hushing up the case by some vested elements.


Speaking to media persons, Ladakh Buddhist Association (LBA), PT Kunzang along with Anjuman Imamia president, Ashraf Ali Barcha, vice president Anjuman Moin Ul Islam, Dr Noor Din and Dechan Chamga, president, Christian Community demand a stern action against the doctor.


The accused has been booked vide First Information Report (FIR) number 5/17 dated May 16 under Section 354-A and 354-B Ranbir Panel Code by Nyoma police.

They demanded an immediate action against accused and threatened to continue with their protest till the doctor was not suitably punished and terminated from the job forthwith.


“All religious bodies of the region condemn the incident to the highest degree and demand immediate termination of the doctor from his service,” the religious leaders said.
