| Dy CM greets people on Ramzan | |
Srinagar, May 27, (Scoop News)- The Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh, Saturday extended greetings to the people of the State on the eve of holy month of Ramzan.
"I extend my greetings to the Muslim brethren as the holy month of Ramzan commences. May the blessed month bring peace and happiness in everyone's lives," Dr Singh said.
He said Ramzan is a period of patience, piety, forgiveness, compassion and devotion to the service of humankind.
He hoped that the auspicious month will be harbinger of peace, communal harmony, amity, brotherhood and prosperity for the people of the State.
