NC greets people on Eid-ul-Fitr

Jammu,, June 25, (Scoop News)- Senior National Conference leaders on Sunday greeted the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, hoping the festival will usher the state in an era of peace and prosperity.

The National Conference leaders hoped that the festival will be celebrated in true spirit of the State’s glorious ethos and strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and amity.

Besides Provincial President Mr Devender Singh Rana, the senior leaders who greeted the people included former ministers Mr Ajay Kumar Sadhotra, Mr Surjeet Singh Slathia, Mr Abdul Gani Malik, Syed Mushtaq Ahmed Shah Bukhari, Mr Sajjad Kichloo, Mr Khalid Najeeb Suharwardhy, Babu Rampal, Babu Jagjeevan Lal, State Vice Presidents Mr Rattan Lal Gupta and Th Kashmira Singh, State Secretary Th Rachpal Singh, Provincial Youth National Conference President Mr Ajaz Jan, MLAs Mr Javed Rana and Dr Kamal Arora, Provincial President Women Wing Mrs Satwant Kour Dogra, Provincial Vice Presidents S Gurdeep Singh Sasan, Mr Jugal Mahajan, Mr Anil Dhar, Choudhry Haroon, Provincial Secretary Sheikh Bashir Ahmed, Co-Chairman SC Cell Mr Vijay Lochan, Co-Chairman OBC Cell Mr Abdul Gani Teli and others.

MLA, Javed Ahmed Rana, has extended felicitations to people on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, wishing them well-being and prosperity.
Rana, in his greetings, wished that this Eid would be a harbinger of peace, development and prosperity for the people of the state.
"May the Eid celebrations reinforce our commitment to mutual good-will and inspire each one of us to follow the path of truth and universal brotherhood,” he said and hoped that the spirit of generosity, discipline and piety inculcated through fasting in the Holy month will continue to guide everyone in day to day life.
He prayed for brotherhood and fraternity among different sections of society.
