| Shiv Sena criticizes CAPD Deptt.,demands ration on subsidized rates for people | |
Jammu, July 21, (Scoop News)-Shiv Sena ( Bala Sahib Thackery) today strongly criticizes CAPD Deptt. for not providing ration to the general masses at subsidized rates. While talking to media persons here at Jammu State President of Shiv Sena Dimpy Kohli said that people are suffering because no ration is available at Ration Depots . He said from the last so many months Govt. has not provided Atta , Rice , Sugar to Ration Depot owners which is creating harassment to general masses . He said that
the rates of Sugar has been hiked from Rs 13.50 per Kg to Rs 25 per Kg by the state government in J&K. The price have been hiked after the upliftment of subsidy by the central government.
He further stated that the entire Quota of Ration for APL(Above Poverty Line) has not been supplied to the dealers from past 1 year and now the increment in the prices of BPL ration is nothing more than barbaric and anti state policy.
He said that people have BPL ration cards but they are not getting ration on time which is making mockery of all the schemes of the govt. He demanded that the price hike should be taken back and Sugar should be provided at an subsidized rates only. Those who were present on the occasion were Rakesh Gupta , Manish Sahni and others.
