Mismatch between PM focus & CM Virbhadra Comments

Jammu, July 22, (Scoop News)-When Beti Bachao Beti Padhao is focus of PM Narinder Modi, CM Virbhadra terms the minor girl’s gang rape and murder in Himachal Pardesh ‘such kind of incidents kept happening in the society; isn’t there pathetic mismatch between PM focus and CM concern?
S.S.Bijral former IGP and state convener BBBP referring to CM Virbhadra Singh’s comments on Kothkai incident of 16 year old school girl’s gang rape and murder said these comments of executive head(CM) with responsibility of safety and security of state subjects is tragically unfortunate. He wondered who would care for family (state) if head (CM) is uncaring to the extent? Recalling the maxim ‘the wearer knows where the shoe pinches’, Bijral said the pain and agony inflicted by the barbaric beasts upon poor farm labourer’s family is not felt in the case by the high because it has happened in other’s family.
The victim to the horrific crime called ‘Gudiya’ by the protesters was encouraged by PM Narinder Modi’s national project of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao shifted to Sr. Secondary School Mahasu from Sr. Secondary School Janathan where she found all the 9 students who appeared in their 10th class exam had failed. Bijral said the poor but conscious minor girl realized the importance of education in life but alas the state, her homeland failed to afford her the protection she needed for accomplishing the goal of her life.
Referring to the fallen Child Sex Ratio in the country and the need expressed by UNO terming the situation as critical in India, Bijral said besides other factors security of women, called weaker sex by society for they can’t fend for their own security, is one of the main reasons for families opting female foeticide. Until and unless the crime against women, who forms half of country population is checked through strict and speedy implementation of law of land Bijral who has taken on to create mass awareness about BBBP through students serving as ambassadors, the country will continue to suffer very serious consequences of fallen CSR.
