| Army organizes a recreational tour cum trek to Manasbal Lake | |
Srinagar, July 22, (Scoop News)- The Army in its efforts to channelise the young minds organised a recreational tour cum trek to Manasbal Lake, Jharokha Bagh and Safapura Heights.
The trip was flagged off at 07.00 AM on 21 July 2017 from Manasbal. 25 college students from low income families of Asham were selected to be a part of the trip. Fun activities such as basic gymnastics were organised for the boys who enjoyed every moment of it.
They also munched on a sumptuous meal organised at Jharokha Bagh. Finally at around 4 pm the students reached back to Manasbal, where the trip culminated after a friendly volleyball match between the Army and students.
The students enjoyed this unique effort by the Army which was reflected from their joyous mood.
