Nirmal Singh holds public Darbar

Jammu, August 12, (Scoop News)-Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Nirmal Singh conducted open Public Darbar for the public to address their problems in Party Headquarter, Trikuta Nagar. BJP State General Secretary Dr. Narinder Singh was also accompanying him during the Darbar.
While sharing his views on Public Darbar, Dr. Nirmal Singh said BJP both at the Centre under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi as well as in the State is committed to welfare of public. The Mantra of BJP is “Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas” and the party is committed to mitigate problems faced by public. He said that aim of conducting this program is to address public grievances at grass root level and BJP will conduct these type of programs on a regular basis where public can come and approach for any type of problem. Infrastructure for the provision of 24 by 7 electricity in the region is not a problem even though it needs the active cooperation of common masses with the PDD department by regularization of connections and paying timely dues, he added.
More than 50 deputations from different regions like Bishnah, R.S. Pura, Gandhi Nagar and Jammu West etc. visited Party office to discuss and present their problems. Deputations included the problems like Installation and repair of Electricity Transformers, water scarcity, roads and others. Concerns regarding JDA and Housing Board were also raised. Deputation of +2 lecturers also met Dy. CM regarding their woes. Rehri/Fari association asked for releasing their Rehris and Faris. Instructions to provide financial aid for stent were also issued.
All J&K Casual/Daily Wagers’ Union of PDD represented for DPC to consider conversion/promotion cases of then PDL’s/TDL’s who have completed 7 years of service. Dy. CM sorted out many of their problems on the spot by telephonically interacting with the competent authority and forwarded the others to concerned departments with written instructions for their quick disposal. A deputation of casual and need based workers thanked Dy. CM for his active consideration of their case for regularization.
