| LAHDC will leave no stone unturned to replicate the kindergarten system of education :Dorjey Motup | | 
Leh, August 17, (Scoop News)-The successful implementation of kindergarten system of education being practiced in council model school Phey, Nimoo and Spituk under Aktion Ladakh initiative since many years in an excellent inspiration for entire Ladakh to follow and LAHDC, Leh will leave no stone unturned to replicate the kindergarten system of education in all the pre primary nursery schools of govt schools introduced since 2012 to streamline the education system of Ladakh in more inclusive way. It was stated by Executive Councilor for Education Dorjey Motup as chief guest while addressing the 20 years celebration of Aktion Ladakh Kindergarten School at Phey today. Motup urged Aktion Ladakh to extend their support by covering more schools in Leh district assuring every possible support from Hill Council.
Organized in collaboration with all the three Kindergarten school Phey, Nimoo and Situk, the 20 years celebration of Aktion Ladakh Kindergarten School was celebrated in presence of its founder Ama Dolma Tethong and other prominent stakeholders.
Stressing on strengthening govt. schools in every respect for which people participation is must, EC Dorjey Motup said that at present 50% students of Leh district are pursuing their studies in private schools which is a very serious concern for all and urged every stakeholders to come forward in making govt. schools trustworthy. Taking about the need of Kindergarten school training for all the govt. teachers, EC Motup assured to arrange such training through DIET in coming months and also assured to table the suggestions and ideas of Dr. Tsering Norboo Convenor Aktion Ladakh in implementing Kindergarten school system before the education department.
Guest of honour Councilor Phyang Punchok Dorjey addressing the programme highly appreciated the noble initiatives of Aktion Ladakh in making schools of Phey, Nimoo and Spituk an examplenary schools in Ladakh and urged Ama Dolma Tethong and her associates to adopt more schools in Ladakh.
Earlier, Dr. Tsering Norboo Convenor Aktion Ladakh gave a detail presentation of school report and made the gathering aware about the aims and objectives of Kindergarten school system.
On the occasion the book of Aktion Ladakh supported group of schools was also released. A certificate of appreciation was presented to Ama Dolma Tethong, Madam Margrit Waelti Secretary Aktion Ladakh and volunteers on behalf of Aktion Ladakh supported Kindergarten school of Phey, Nimoo and Spituk and villages of these three villages for their untiring and gracious support since 20 years.
A scintillating cultural programme was presented by students of Phey, Nimoo and Spituk schools on the occasion.
Nominated Councilor Rinchen Lamo, ZEO , Leh Paldan Tundup were also present on the occasion.
