| President of India visiting Leh today | | 
Leh, August 21, (Scoop News)- The President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind visiting Leh today to present Colours to all five Ladakh Scouts Battalions and Ladakh Scouts Regimental Centre at Leh.
On the same day, he will also visit the Mahabodhi International Meditation Centre at Leh before returning to Delhi.
Governor NN Vohra, Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, Gen Rawat and other top political leadership and bureaucrats of the State would receive Kovind in Leh today. This is Kovind’s first visit to Jammu and Kashmir after taking over as the President last month.
He will also address the troops.
Army chief Gen Bipin Rawat has already reached Leh on a three-day visit.... |
