ADGP Armed releases SSP M Y Kichloo’s book
Srinagar, August 21, (Scoop News)- L. Mohanti, Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Armed J&K today released the book titled “Procedural Lapses/ Ambiguities Vis-à-vis Prosecution/ Acquittals” authored by M.Y Kichloo KPS, SSP. Mr. Kichloo who is presently posted as Staff Officer to ADGP Armed J&K.
S.A Watali IPS IGP Armed/ IR Jammu, S.Ahfadul Mujtaba IPS IGP Armed/ IR Kashmir,
Mubarak Ganie IGP Railway, Commandants of Kashmir based AP/ IRP Bns and Officers/ officials of Armed Police Headquarter and senior Police officers were also present on the occasion.
While releasing the book, ADGP L.Mohanti lauded the efforts of M.Y Kichloo and said that the book is very informative and beneficial for Police Officers preferably investigators. The ADGP said the book is a comprehensive collection and compilation of procedural Laws and would immensely help in guiding investigating officers to carry out the investigation of offences pertaining to bovine smuggling, violation of forest Act-1987, J&K Wild life protection Act-1978, Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act, NDPS Act, Offences of Rape, Offence committed by Juvenile and cruelty against Women. The ADGP said that the author really deserves appreciation for this valuable compilation.
The gathering was informed that SSP M Y Kichloo has distinction of authoring a book on cyber crime also besides, he is the first to introduce the concept of cyber crime in J&K Police. It was revealed that the author has also written a research paper titled, “jurisdiction-An issue in E-Commerce” which was published in International Journal of “Emerging Science and Engineering” (IJESE) by the board of “Blue Eyes Intelligence Engineering and Sciences Publications Private Ltd.”. The officer has been honoured with FICCI Smart Policing Award 2017 for his best initiatives in cyber crime and cyber security under cyber crime category. Mr. Kichloo was selected for the prestigious FICCI Smart Policing Award 2017, the gathering was informed.
