| VHP delegation meets Home Minister | |
Jammu, September 12, (Scoop News)-A deputation of Vishwa Hindu Parishad Jammu & Kashmir comprising of Sh. Leela Karan Sharma, State VHP President, Shakti Dutt Sharma, Surinder Mohan Aggarwal, Karan Singh Charak & Sudershan Khajuria met the Home Minister and submitted a memorandum highlighting the following problems being faced which are likely to create and may result into a volatile situation in Jammu.
Memorandum reads as Jammu region is only the stumbling block in the attempt of the separatist & Islamic organisations supported by Pakistan to convert the J&K State into a Muslim State and with this object the Rohangiyas & Bangladeshies are being settled in Jammu to change the demography of Jammu which will not only provide hideouts to anti-nationals but also committing crimes, cow slaughter, drugs & flesh trade & if this is not checked and these foreigners are not deported, it may result into a volatile situation. Inspite of the many representations nothing has been done so far. Your honour is also aware what happened in Jaipur where Rohangiyas supported by locals have created a situation in a Hindu majority state what will happen in J&K which is a Muslim majority state the situation can’t be imagined.
The educated youth of Jammu are being deprived of their due share in Government employment. Recently out of 12 Judicial officer(Munsiff) selected 10 are Muslims, only 2 are Hindus out of which one is SC which is the constitutional requirement & one is the daughter of a Cabinet Minister similar is the case with Lecturer & professors appointed in Jammu Medical College as well as in the Kashmir Administration Service exams. The PSC member appointed from Jammu are incompetent & works under the dictates of their masters from Kashmir.
There is a feeling in the peoples of Jammu that the discrimination with them has increased manifold during the present dispensation than the previous ones. Nothing has been done so far with respect to the settlement of west Pak refugees & Article 35A imported in the constitution by fraudulent means has caused extensive damage to the people of Jammu & deprived the citizens of India of their fundamental rights, including west Pak refugees, Gorkhas who have fought many wars for the state during the reign of Maharajas of J&K State, Valmikis who were brought in J&K in 1957 because of the strike of the sweepers are the worst sufferers.
The development of Jammu during the last 3 years is not visible on the surface & peoples of Jammu are feeling as they have been deceived. We request your good self to take immediate corrective measures to address the grievances of Jammu people.
