| SOS Intl extends support to Jammu bandh | |
Jammu, September 17, (Scoop News)- “Our organization has decided to extend full support to Jammu bandh call given by Jammu Chamber of Commerce and Industries (JCCI) on Monday against the statement of State BJP President particularly underprivileged execution of BJP Ministers”, this was stated by Rajiv Chuni Chairman, S. O. S. International – An organization for PoK Displaced Persons in a press statement issued here.
Mr. Chuni alleged that 2 BJP Members of Parliament had registered thumping victory in 2014 general elections because PoK Displaced Persons cast their precious votes to them in hope of witnessing ‘Achche Din’ (Good Days) but it remained just a farce slogan even after the lapse of 3 years of Modi Government in Centre. “BJP who is also sharing power with its ally PDP in Jammu and Kashmir has terribly failed to meet the expectations of people specifically PoK DPs who have been facing the brunt of various successive Governments since exodus from their ancestral places. None of MLAs, MLCs and MPs of BJP Government has ever tried to make any communication with us moreover, they have been ignoring us and furthermore, they have become quite arrogant and it seems that intoxication of power has climbed up on their brain. There is no suspicion left behind that both Central and State Governments failed to deliver good Governance to people”, he added.
“The magnitude of arrogance of BJP leaders has crossed all limits as they don’t reply of letters seeking time to meet even they don’t demonstrate any positive gesture at any public forum. It seems BJP leadership has forgotten that they have powers to serve public not to show arrogance. If public build, they have the power to wipe out, people will answer such arrogance in next polls”, S. O. S. International Chairman warned. He further stated that people will definitely trample such sort of arrogance in coming polls as they keep on their boot heels adding, that this is the same party who had raised its voice against discrimination with Jammu when was out of power but it has taken the level of discrimination to many folds up since the day, it has come in power.
He further said that Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has given the slogan of clean, transparent and corruption free Governance to the masses of this country and Jammu and Kashmir in particular. “For this, Mr. Modi must ask his Ministers, MPs, MLAs and MLCs from J&K to disclose their property details before and after becoming law makers in public domain in order to take first step towards transparency, as there are reports that some of BJP law makers of the State are indulged in mal-practices and their misdeeds need to be checked”, he added.
Mr. Chuni further advocated that last ruler of the State of Jammu and Kashmir, Maharaja Hari Singh’s birth anniversary ought to be declared as public holiday adding, that it has been paramount desire of people of the State.
S. O. S. International Chairman appealed to people of all the 3 regions of the State to extend full support to Jammu bandh and observe complete shutdown on Monday so that a concrete message can be delivered to leaders who have taken public for granted.
Mr. Chuni said that volunteers of S. O. S. International will come on roads on Monday to make the Bandh peaceful and successful.
