District Units of Teachers Federation Submit Memorandum to PM, HRD Minister through their DCs

Jammu, September 18, (Scoop News)-All the district units of All Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh Teachers Federation [Afft. with Akhil Bhartiya Rashtriya Shaikshik Mahasangh] headed by their district Presidents and secretaries met their respective Deputy Commissioners and submitted a memorandum to Hon’able Prime Minister Sh Narindra Modi, Hon’able HRD Minister Sh Prakash Javdaker’ Hon’able Chief minister J&k, Mehbooba Mufti and Hon’able Education Minister Sh Altaf Bukhari.
The delegation demanded removal of Anomalies of sixth pay commission, The recommendation of the 7th pay commission be implemented uniformly throughout the country, Pension scheme prior to the 1st Jan.20104should be restored in all schools, Retirement age of the school teachers in entire country should be 65 years, Regular and permanent appointment on educational posts should be ensured and strengthening of trainings of teachers should be arranged, Payments of salary of the teachers working in the added schools should be treasury, Provide free health card facility to all school teachers for proper medical carer and it’s proper implementation be ensured, Previous service period should be counted for promotions, An independent and Autonomous regulatory commission comprising of academicians be formed by the central and state governments for planning regulation and control of education system , The Education system be restructured bi incorporating National identity, Indian values, human and character building, social concerns, fundamental thinking, research and innovation, 10% of GDP by the central Government and 30 % of state budget be spent on education so as to make basic amenities like teachers, books, building, play grounds etc. available to the students,Make education cadre, Autonomy of Education should be restored throughout the country and teachers participation in all education decisions should be ensured . Political and administrative intervention should be stopped, The provisions of right to free and compulsory education Act be made consistent and practical and provide necessary resources and facilities to ensure their compliance, Primary Education should be imparted in mother language, The commercialization of Education be controlled, The minimum pay scale and service condition to the teachers working in the name of Vidyarthi Mitra, Para Teacher, Contract Teacher, Guest Teacher, Prabodhak, Shiksha Mitra, RET Teacher, part time Educators etc. be determined and its implementation be ensured, Teachers should be kept free from non academic tasks.
The delegations were led by Dev Raj Thakur, State President, Ratan Sharma, State Secy, Maheshwar Prasad, State Vice President, Darshan Bharti, State Vice President, Arun Sharma, Jammu Distt President, Pawan Kumar, Neeraj Sharma, Sanjay Sharma, Shivdev Singh, Kusum Lata, Radha Krishan Udhampur District Pesident and Surjit Singh.
The district units of Jammu, Samba, Kathua, Udhampur, Reasi, Kishtwar, Doda, Rajouri and Poonch Districts submitted memorandum to Hon’able Prime Minister Hon,able HRD Minister,Hon’able Chief Minister and Hon,able Education Minister of respective states through respective Deputy Commissioners .
