Students of border firing victims needs special attention: Mankotia

Bishnah, September 19, (Scoop News)- Keeping in view the prevailing situation of border, former MLA and NPP president Balwant Singh Mankotia has demanded that special attention would be given for the students of border firing victims. He said schooling of border students have been badly affected due to recent ceasefire violation and to protect their right of education, special classes would be started at makeshift arrangements by district administration.

Haq-insaaf yatra started for separate Jammu state on Tuesday reached Bishnah constituency of border belt of Jammu district. NPP state president Balwant Singh Mankotia addressed different rallies at Chak Jarala, Patiadi, Bishnah, Karela, Nardole etc panchayats of Bishnah constituencies and met people who have migrated from the border due to recent ceasefire violation by Pakistani rangers. While addressing the various street rallies, Balwant Singh Mankotia blamed that coalition govt led by PDP and its alliance partner BJP has remain failed to fulfill the long pending demands of border people and still they are facing the brunt, loss of livestock and loss of property due to Pakistan shelling .

Making a scathing attack on the successive regimes, Mankotia said elected government in state and centre has failed to provide 5 marla plot to border migrants, compensation of land under mines and special recruitment drive for youth of border belt. He said that central and state govt has failed to fulfill the promises made during assembly and parliament election by the national political parties. Unfortunately, living standard of border people and situation along border have worsen due to wrong policies of central and state govt run by BJP, regretted Mankotia.

NPP state president Balwant Singh Mankotia appealed the state and central government to fulfill the promises being made with the people of border and asked to start special classes at makeshift camps for the students of border so that their schooling should not be affected till normalcy have been restored on border. On this occasion Rajesh Padgotra provincial president, Rohit Sharma tehsil president, Rakesh Verma also addressed the gathering at different panchayats.
