Student organisations hold a protest rally against University authorities for alleged partiality

Jammu, September 19, (Scoop News)-Various student organizations namely NSUI, NCSU, PRSU, GBSF held a protest on Tuesday in Jammu University against partial behaviour of authorities.

NSUI state president Neeraj Kundan accused JU administration, JKP for allegedly favoring ABVP goons at the behest of some BJP ministers.

He said JU administration and JKP adopted biased behavior during Monday's incident that took place in law school, where a student of the school were allegedly beaten up brutally by ABVP goons,

Kundan said he had registered a complaint with JU administration against ABVP goons who were continuously threatening him and has also given his protest letter in writing to administration to provide him security but the JU administration took this issue lightly and student was beaten brutally by ABVP goons.

"The victim had given in writing the application to register an FIR in police station," he said adding that "it is at the behest of some BJP ministers, the JKP has not registered an FIR against these ABVP goons."

NSUI State President while addressing media personnel warned JU administration and JKP to take strict action against the culprits otherwise they will protest more aggressively on this issue.
