| Srinagar police arrests 02 miscreants for floating rumours | |
Srinagar, October 11, (Scoop News)-Srinagar police has arrested two miscreants who has floated the rumours about rag pickers as braid choppers.
On 9th of October 2017 some miscreants floated a rumour that four rag pickers from outside J&K who were roaming nearby at village Gandbal, Lasjan as braid choppers.
Soon the outsiders were surrounded by a mob of about 2000 persons who started abusing and hacking them. Meanwhile police intervened and rescued all the four rag pickers.
A case FIR number 116/2017 under section336, 353, 341 was registered and investigation of the case was taken up.
During the investigation, two rumour mongers namely Tawseef Ahmad Dar son of Zahoor Ahmad Dar resident of Padshahi Bagh Srinagar and Mir Musadiq son of Fayaz Ahmad Mir resident Lasjan have been arrested. Further investigation is of the case is going on.
