Jammu, October 12, (Scoop News)- P.G.Department to meet the GCW Parade in the final of the ongoing Inter-Collegiate Volleyball(Women) Tournament 2017-18 organized by Directorate of Sports & Physical Education, University of Jammu at University Sports Stadium.
Earlier in the 1st semi-final GCW Parade outplayed GDC Poonch in straight sets(3-0) with set score 25-6, 25-17 and 25-10 while P.G.Department defeated the defending champions GCW Gandhi Nagar by (3-0) sets with set score 25-20, 25-19 and 25-11 respectively.
Prof.Avtar Singh Jasrotia Director, Directorate of Sports & Physical Education, University of Jammu was the Chief Guest of the function and witnessed both the semi-finals in the presence of Sh.Kuldeep Magotra(CEO Volleyball Federation of India), Prof. Kamaljeet Singh, Sh.Sudesh Bhagat, Dr.Vinod Bakshi, Ms.Suman Lata, Sh.Jai Bharat, Sh.Raj Kumar Bakshi, Sh.Ravish Vaid, Mr.Akbar Ali and Sh.Vikas Karlopia.
The matches were officiated by Sh.Romesh Singh Jasrotia , Sh.Amit Sharma, Sh.Naresh Kumar and Sh.Mulkh Raj. The final match of the tournament will be played on 13-10-2017 at 10.30 a.m.

Inter Collegiate Kabbadi(Women) Tournament 2017-18 was held in the University Sports Stadium, University of Jammu ,organized by the Directorate of Sports & Physical Education, University of Jammu.

1st Semi Final :
GWC Gandhi Nagar beat GCW Udhampur by 42 points (53-11)
2nd Semi Final :
P.G.Department beat GDC Kathua by 11 points(33-22)
