NPP Supremo urges Indian PM to act fast to end anarchy in J&K
Jammu, October 21, (Scoop News)-Prof.Bhim Singh, Chief Patron of National Panthers Party urged Shri Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India to act fast to end anarchy, lawlessness and unrest that has been ruling the Valley of Kashmir in the name of braid chopping incidents in the Valley. Prof.Bhim Singh cautioned Shri Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India that the people in the Valley of Kashmir have never given up their human character, respect for friendship and practice of hospitality even to the strangers. The latest situation created in the Valley of Kashmir has done more harm to the national interest than any other incidents that has taken place during past 67 years in any corner of the country.
Prof.Bhim Singh said that this is the time that Shri Narendra Modi should think of one India from Kashmir to Kanyakumari by providing all Fundamental Rights to the people of J&K which were taken away from them by an order of the President of India in 1954 by inserting ‘A’ at the end of Article 35. People of J&K have remained superb for seven decades yet they remained denied of their Fundamental Rights by the power hungry politicians in J&K who were aided, sponsored and charged by the successive Central governments, Congress to BJP.
Prof.Bhim Singh said that there have been more 120 braid chopping incidents in the Valley of Kashmir that only against the females of particular community. And none has been traced till date by the Govt. of J&K. There have been instances when mob has beaten up strangers, tourists and even army men in plain clothes on suspicion. Where is the special investigation team set up by the J&K Police? Where is law and order machinery? Prof.Bhim Singh in his communication to Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, made strong appeal to think of one India from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. The failure of pellet guns cannot be substituted for braid chopping. Visiting border areas to back up the Army soldiers is fine, going to Kedarnath is wonderful idea but why Prime Minister should not visit Lal Chowk in Kashmir and listen to the distressed people of Kashmir in particular these days?
Prof.Bhim Singh in his communication told the Prime Minister that the people of Kashmir have been as civilized, cultured with a sense of human love even in 1947 when India was bleeding. The people of Kashmir in particular waved the flag of human love and glory so that brotherhood shall last forever. Prof.Bhim Singh urged the Prime Minister to call a meeting of National Integration Council or call the meeting of a small number of people from all walks of life whom he would think that they matter to seek their opinion/advice in private/exclusive get-together sans press/media. This is the time to send the message that India is one from Kanyakumari to Kashmir and people of J&K deserve same fundamental rights with a human dignity which the people of rest of country have been enjoying in spite of their anger, protest and civil movement.
Prof.Bhim Singh said that the only way to resolve the present crisis in J&K is that the Governor Rule. He wondered, why Shri N.N. Vohra, the Governor of J&K is not invoking Section 92 of J&K Constitution to remove present J&K government?
