| Militant hideout busted in Kishtwar district | | large cache of arms and ammunition recovered | 
Jammu, November 17, (Scoop News)- Acting on specific information, army and police this morning launched a search operation in Forest area of Naidgam, Chhatru and recovered arms and ammunition from a hideout concealed inside a natural cave. During the search and seek operations two Chinese pistol with two magazines and five rounds, one .303 rifle with one magazine and ten cartridges, one UBGL launcher with five grenades were recovered from the spot.
The operation was launched jointly in the early hours today by the security forces. The joint parties cordoned off the area and carried out a meticulous search during which they succeeded in locating the natural hideout of terrorists, which was used during peak of militancy for sustenance.
The security forces are continuing with their persistent operations to keep Kishtwar district safe and sanitized from terrorists as well as their support infrastructure. The recovery of war like stores will deal a severe blow to the nefarious designs of terrorists to revive militancy in the area.
