Floral tributes paid to Martyr Imran Tak | Chief Minister, Dy CM pay tributes to slain cop |
Srinagar/Jammu, November 17, (Scoop News)-To pay homage to martyr police officer Mr. Imran Tak, a wreath laying ceremony was held in DPL Srinagar. Among the police officers who presented wreaths and flowers included IGP Kashmir Munir Ahmad Khan, IGP Armed (Kashmir) S. Ahfadul Mujtaba, DIG CKR Ghulam Hassan Bhat, and a number of SsP & Commandants of armed/IR, DySsP and Jawans. As has been reported earlier SI Imran Tak resident of Basantgarh, Udhampur lost his life in a terrorist attack at Gulabbagh, Srinagar.
Meanwhile Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti has paid rich tributes to the Sub Inspector of J&K Police, Imran Talk, who was killed today at Zakura, Srinagar. Mehbooba Mufti said violence is no means to achieve any goals, rather it tears apart the entire social fabric of the society. The Chief Minister has conveyed her sympathies with the bereaved family of slain cop.
Deputy Cief Minister Dr. Nirmal Singh today expressed grief over the killing of Sub Inspector Mr. Imran Tak, who was killed by the militants in Zakura area of Srinagar district. While condemning the killing of police officer, the Deputy Chief Minister said the sacrifices rendered by valiant police officers would be remembered forever and the perpetrators of the violence would be dealt with sternly. Deputy Chief Minister while expressing sympathies with the bereaved family prayed for peace to the departed soul.
