Security cavalcade injures a 11 year old student near Nagrota





Jammu, November 18, (Scoop News)-A primary student sustained multiple injuries when he was allegedly hit by a speedy security vehicle, a part of National Conference (NC) chief’s motorcade at Bajalta near Nagrota.


Identified as Mohammed Yasin, a student of 5th primary, belongs to village Ban Bajalta. He was allegedly smacked into by a vehicle when he was returning to his home, causing multiple bruises and injuries to him including fracture in his leg.


He was immediately shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital for treatment. In view of the critical injuries he is likely to be shifted to Amritsar for a specialized treatment.


Yasin was brought to hospital in the same security vehicle after they were reportedly intercepted by a police party.


NC chief, Dr Farooq Abdullah, was visiting the area, Sarah Pargalta, to convey his condolences to the family of a brave heart, martyr Sohan Lal of Assam Rifles, who had laid down his life in a bomb blast in Manipur on November 13.


NC sources, however, denied that the vehicle was part of Dr Farooq’s motorcade and said that he (Farooq) passed through this route over half an hour after the ‘unfortunate incident’ had taken place....
