| JKPCC expresses concern over plight of farmers due to shortage of seeds in Rajouri district. | |
Jammu, November 21, (Scoop News)-Former MLC and chief spokesperson of Congress Party, Ravinder Sharma has expressed serious concern over the plight of farmers in Rajouri District who are not being provided adequate quantity of seed.
In a statement, Sharma said that the field reports appearing in the media as well as his interactions with farmers in the area have suggested that the farmers are not getting the required quota of seeds in different parts of the district and they are waiting for supply of adequate quantity of seed to meet the requirement of all the needy ones.
He said that farmers are backbone of our rural economy and food chain as farmers are the (Anndata) producers of our food, the Govt. should take special care of timely and adequate supply of seed & fertilizer to them.... |
