| DLL organizes Career Counseling Programme at GDC Udhampur | |
Udhampur, November 21, (Scoop News)-Employment Information Cum Advisory Bureau, Department of Lifelong Learning, University of Jammu in collaboration with P.G. Department of English, Government Degree College, Udhampur organised one day Counselling programme on “Career perspectives after PG in English” here today. The programme was held under the supervision of Dr. Kavita Suri, Director, DLL, University of Jammu.
The programme started with the lightening of lamp followed by welcome address by the Sh. S.K. Magotra, Principal. Prof. Monika Sethi and Dr. Sadaf Shah, both from Department of English, University of Jammu were invited as Special resource persons. Both of them made the students aware about the career avenues for them in English in the near future apart from traditional options.
About 70 students of the college attended the programme and were thrilled and appreciated the information provided to them. Besides students, Prof. Kamaldeep Kour, Prof. Sanjay Kumar, Prof. Rakesh Sharma were also present in the programme.
Formal vote of thanks was given by Prof. Anuradha Kalsi. The programme was conducted by Dr. Shubra Jamwal and Dr. Rippy Bawa. It was coordinated by Dr. Rewa Khajuria, Counsellor, EIAB, DLL, University of Jammu.
