| BSF school Jammu students excel in sports and literary activities | |
Jammu, November 22, (Scoop News)-BSF School Jammu students brought laurels to the institution by giving scintillating and power packed performances in various literary, artistic and sports activities. In the 63rd National school games Ms Stuti Gupta of BSF Sr Sec School won silver medal (HOOP) in U-17 gymnastics. The games were held at Salt Lake, Kolkata and were organized by West Bengal State Sports Council. On 2nd Nov’ 2017 under the aegis of vigilance Department of BSF Jammu FTR, a plethora of activities like Essay writing Elocution and Poster making were conducted.Ms Bhumika Sharma and Vaishvi Raina bagged first and second prize respectively in Essay writing while Tejasvi and Himanshu clinched first and second prize in Elocution.
Ms Ritika Verma and Master Arjun Thakur won the first and second prize in Poster making. The stupendous efforts of the students were appreciated by the principal of the school Dr S K Shukla who encouraged the students to nurture innate talents and to give wings to their dreams.
