Prof.Bhim Singh said that this is a total violation of election rules by the Prime Minister and by Leader of the Congress Party. He urged Election Commission of India for his urgent intervention. Election Commission should, he demanded, declare the electoral process in Gujarat as vitiated and has violated the mandatory provision in the Constitution of India that religion shall not be exploited or votes shall not be demanded in the name of religion.
