Mould young minds towards positive pursuits: Rana tells teachers


Nagrota ,December 16, (Scoop News)-National Conference Provincial President Mr Devender Singh Rana on Saturday called for frequent teacher-parent interaction and coordination for laying sound base of the children at initial schooling stage.

“Moulding young minds towards positive pursuits is most challenging task and much onus lies on teachers, who have to work with a missionary spirit to shape destiny of their students”, Mr Rana said while speaking at the annual day function of RMG International School Jandial, Bhalwal in Nagrota Assembly Constituency this afternoon.

Mr Rana referred to numerous challenges to harmonious growth of youngsters in this era of stress and strain and said these can be met by providing congenial academic environs. “This is the area where managements have to focus and create a wherewithal that helps in overall development of students” , he maintained.

Exhorting teachers to emphasise on this crucial aspect with a sense of devotion, Mr Rana said that the teachers have to be role model for their taught. “Their role is not of immense importance only in making children academically sound but they can have tremendous influence on their social behaviour as well”, he said adding that the students need lessons of life alongside guidance on the subject matter for becoming useful citizens of tomorrow.

He complimented the management for organising important events like annual day in a befitting manner, saying that these remain treasure for the students all their life.

The programme took off with rendition of the Shloka recitation which was followed by the lighting of the lamp in the presence of Chairman Mr. Rohit Gupta and CEO Mr. Karamjeet Paul.

The school Director, Mrs. Mona Gupta warmly greeted the gathering while thel annual report was read by the Principal, Mrs. Kanchan Sanga which traced the long strides and significant progress made during the last year by RMG. He shared with the audience the glorious achievement of the students in various fields, In true Indian tradition.

The school premises was abuzz with music and excitement as the parents gathered to witness their children perform the annual musical production, ‘ A trip to fairy Tale’ by Toddlers planet was a major attraction. The grand finale of Toddlers’ planet witnessed a mesmerizing graduation ceremony of Sr. KG.

Meritorious students of Toddlers’ planet were felicitated for their outstanding achievement in different competitions, be it Navartri, Navgrahas or Navratna. The cultural bonanza presented by the primary school students was based on nine emotions called Navras. the journey to human emotions enthralled each and every one present in the auditorium as a dance drama unfolded. The audience experienced a gamut of emotion. The stage took on hues enhancing the mood of every emotion. The venue reverberated with thunderous applause; gleaming faces exchanged appreciative nods as the audience witnessed the perfection and extravaganza of the grand finale.

Mr Rana congratulated the young RGMites on presenting a spectacular show. He added. “Looking at the talent of the children and the education imparted at RMG, I am very sure that future is in safe hands.” Parents contributed to the unique curtain call with National anthem.
