| Zulfkar projects Munsiff Court for Darhal | | Approaches Chief Justice of J&K High Court in black & white |
Jammu, January 17, (Scoop News)- Minister for Food, Civil Supplies, Consumer Affairs and Tribal Affairs Chowdhary Zulfkar Ali has approached Chief Justice of Jammu & Kashmir High Court Badar Durrez Ahmed projecting opening of Munsiff Court at Darhal.
The Minister has approached Chief Justice in black and white vide office number PS/HM/FCS/CA/TA/2018/91 dated 16 -01-2018 wherein Chowdhary Zulfkar Ali has strongly recommended for opening of Muniff Court at tehsil Headquarter Darhal.
The Minister said that Block Darhal is one of the oldest block of District Rajouri having sizeable population. He said that it is geographically located at a place in the lap of Pir Panjal Mountain with difficult terrain. He said that the litigants of the area have to seek legal remedy from the Munsiff Court located at Thanamandi where additional Munsiff Court is also located. He added that the residents of Darhal have to first reach Rajouri and then to Thanamandi as there is no direct road connectivity between Darhal and Thanamandi.
The Minister projected that since the people of Darhal have to travel about 55 kilometers to get justice, they deserved a Munsiff Court or Additional Munsiff Court in the area. He said that if opened it will provide justice to the people who want to get legal remedy.
The Minister brought into the notice of Chief Justice that they have raised this issue in past also but till date no action has been taken and justice demand that Munsiff Court be opened in the area.
He strongly recommended for opening of Munsiff Court at Darhal and said that he will continue to strive till a Munsiff Court is opened in the area.
