| AGS Hanzik boys to represent team india in Wushu championship at Moscow | | 
Srinagar, January 18, (Scoop News)- Master Aabid Hamid & Master Hashim Ashraf, students of Army Goodwill School Hanzik, have excelled in various Martial Arts like Wushu& Kickboxing. Both the students have consistently performed in Martial Arts competitions at School, District, State and National level competitions. Acknowledging their specific achievements in Wushu and based on performance in 63rd National School Games held in Jammu in December 2017, both students have now been selected to represent India in Moscow Wushu Stars 2018 Championship at Moscow,Russia from 16 to 21 February 2018. It is indeed a milestone achievement for a School to have two of its students getting selected to represent India at International level.
Students of Army Goodwill School Hanzik, have performed consistently in Martial Arts (Wushu and Kickboxing) and have brought laurels to the School by winning 01 x Gold medal, 02 x Silver medals and 01 x bronze medal at the National School Games in Wushu and Kickboxing during the year 2017. A total of 13 students had represented the J&K State School Teams at various National Games in Wushu& Kickboxing in year 2017. This is an unprecedented feat in the history of the School.
Their inspired performance will serve as a motivation for other students to emulate and help bring more glory and success for the School in times to come. With the School and their families backing them,Master Aabid Hamid & Master Hashim Ashraf had put in immense hard work and left no stones unturned in making most of this opportunity. The School staff and the management have been in the forefront in identifying young talent and providing the deserving students with such opportunities wherein they can channelise their energy towards a competitive and healthy future, and be a part of mainstream society.
