| Army conducts pre recruitment training cum counseling camp for the local youth of Rajouri | |
Jammu, January 18, (Scoop News)- As part of its perception management initiative, a pre-recruitment training cum counseling camp is being conducted by Indian Army in Rajouri District of Jammu and Kashmir from
15 - 31 Jan 2018. This capsule has been formulated with an aim to guide and motivate the youth of the local area to choose Army as career and contribute to the process of nation building, constructively.
In consonance with the policy of ‘Army of the People, For the People, and By the People’, this noble initiative to train and guide eligible & aspiring volunteer youth of the area for recruitment into the Armed Forces is a step towards youth empowerment. The capsule content focuses on preparing, guiding and training of volunteers under close supervision of qualified Army instructors for recruitment rallies scheduled in near future.
The capsule kick started with the screening of eligible volunteer youth and the shortlisted volunteers were then put through systematic training with a view to ensure that they qualify physical and written tests at the Army Recruitment Rallies. With sustained hard work, practice, guidance and training, many young boys from this group are likely to get recruited in the Army and don the olive green uniform for the Country. Local populace & especially families of the young boys have appreciated this noble gesture of the Indian Army wherein a total of 86 candidates are successfully undergoing training under the expert guidance of experienced and able hands.
