| Police Station Lal Bazar organises sports event | |
Srinagar, February 11, (Scoop News)-Police Station Lal Bazar organised a sports event at R.P. School Alamdar Colony under Civic Action Programme (CAP). The event was inaugurated by SDPO Hazratbal Shri Rameez Bhat accompanied by SHO Lalbazar Shri Riyaz Ahmad Khan.
A large number of youth of area participated in games of volleyball, carom, chess, badminton & Kho-kho. The winners were awarded & all participants encouraged by the SDPO Hazratbal & SHO Lalbazar.
The aim of such events is to impart and inculcate the sense of discipline, sportsmanship and camaraderie among the participants.
Moreover the students were educated about the ill effects of druge abuse.
The locals at large appreciated the efforts of J and K Police to reach out to the masses through CAP.
