| Army holds seminar on "Resettlement" for prospective retirees, 400 serving personnel retiring in next three years | | interactive lectures held on schemes of resettlement opportunities post retirement |
Udhampur, February 23, (Scoop News)-A 'Resettlement Seminar' for prospective retirees was conducted at Udhampur Military Station on Friday, which was attended by approximately 400 serving personnel who are to retire in next three years.
The seminar aimed at educating and guiding the prospective retirees on the opportunities available for resettlement and enable them to make the right decision for themselves.
Interactive lectures were conducted on schemes of DGR resettlement opportunities for 2nd career post-retirement and benefits from Directorate of Indian Army Veterans (DIAV).
In addition process of registration for seeking private jobs and concessions available from respective State Governments were also disseminated.
An educative talk on fiscal management of pensionery benefits and steps to be taken to resolve pension issues was also conducted for the prospective retirees.
The event was well appreciated by the attendees and they immensely benefited from the seminar.... |
