Governor, Chief Minister, ministers greet people on Shab-i-Miraj

Jammu/Srinagar, April 13, (Scoop News)- Governor N. N. Vohra Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti and ministers ,greeted the people on Shab-i-Miraj.

In his message of felicitations the Governor has expressed hope that the celebration of this auspicious occasion would further strengthen the bonds of amity, harmony and brotherhood among all communities and be a harbinger of peace, progress and prosperity in the State.



Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti has felicitated the people of the State on the auspicious occasion of Me’raj-un-Nabi (SallalahoAliheWasalam).
In her message, the Chief Minister said the night of Me’raj is a sacred occasion to seek divine blessings and forgiveness from Almighty Allah. She appealed the people to bow before Him tonight and specially seek an end to bloodshed, violence and acrimony in the State and elsewhere.
Making a special prayer, Mehbooba Mufti hoped that the blessed night brings along peace, prosperity and happiness to the people of the State.



Minister for Revenue, Haj & Auqaf, Abdul Rehman Veeri, Minister for Animal, Sheep Husbandry and Fisheries, Abdul Ghani Kohli and Minister for Law and Justice Abdu Haq Khan has felicitated the people of the state on the auspicious occasion of Shab-e-Me’raj.
In their messages of felicitation, the Ministers expressed hope that the celebration of this auspicious occasion would further strengthen the bonds of amity, harmony and brotherhood and be a harbinger of peace, progress and prosperity in the State.
While highlighting the need for spreading message of Prophet Mohammad (SAW) who, promoted love, affection, kindness and mutual respect among the humankind, ministers said the teachings of prophet are more relevant in contemporary times when violence has increased across globe. They also urged the people to offer special prayers for peace and prosperity of the state.
