| PCPG meeting held at Police Station Rajbagh | |
Srinagar, April 22, (Scoop News)-A PCPG (Police Community Partnership Group) meeting was held at Police Station Rajbagh.
With an aim to strengthen relations with public & also to establish mass contacts, Police Station Rajbagh convened a public interaction meeting in which good number of respectable citizens including presidents of various Mohalla committees, traders association members & other reputed locals of the area participated.
The meeting was chaired by SHO Police Station Ms P. D. Niditya-IPS(Prob). The participants highlighted various issues prevailing in the society like drug menace, gambling etc & some issues related to civil administration.
The participants were also briefed by SHO Rajbagh to give wide publicity regarding the presence of outsiders who put as tenants in the area to register them in the police station.
Referring to the issues highlighted by the participants, SHO Rajbagh assured them that issues pertaining to police will be solved in shortest possible time & the rest will be taken up with the civil administration for their redressal on priority.
At the end, the participants were warmly thanked for cooperating with police in curbing social crimes and drug abuse.
