| Plantation drive held at DPL Kargil | |
Srinagar, April 23, (Scoop News)- As part of yearly plantation drive and to promote eco-friendly atmosphere, District Police Kargil carried out a plantation drive at District Police Lines Kargil which was launched by SSP Kargil Shri Tsering Gyalpo accompanied by Dy. SP DAR Kargil Shri Rigzen Sandup, Lines Officer DPL SI Mohammad Mussa besides other Officials at District Police Lines Kargil.
During the drive, more than 200 saplings of different varieties were planted in and around the campus of DPL Kargil.
Later, SSP Kargil also took stock of the ongoing special training session of SPOs which has been going on since last one month. While addressing to the trainee SPOs, SSP Kargil stressed them to bring utmost perfection and discipline and briefed them about their roles and responsibilities in dealing with day to day law and order situations. Shri T. Gyalpo further directed the Lines Officer, drill instructors and other concerned officials to ensure proper training of the SPOs and bring best out of them.
